The Magazine School

The Western Magazine Awards wants to encourage teachers, instructors and professors to use the content found in Western Canadian magazines in their classrooms. WMA put together six PowerPoint teaching presentations based on six 2014 winning articles. These presentations are free for instructors to use in the classroom. Second on the list is Matthew Kirby's "Going, Going, Gone," which originally appeared in the April/May 2013 issue of Canada's History magazine and was awarded a Gold Award for the Best Article in Manitoba.
